About the founder
Daniela Levera was born in Brazil, raised in Chile, and is now based in Italy. She moved to Venice to complete her degree in Product Design. Her passion for ceramics led her to study the material’s technology in Faenza, and in 2014, she founded her atelier. With twelve years of experience in the ceramic field and teaching, Daniela now focuses her research on the study and processing of porcelain, a material she continues to work with today. Over the last years, Daniela has consistently taught, and in 2021, she founded Scuola Ceramica Online, a platform dedicated to online ceramics education and a vibrant community of students and professionist. She showcases her work at various exhibitions and fairs dedicated to art and high craftsmanship. Today, Atelier Daniela is supported by a team of four people who help carry on the brand. Daniela not only produces porcelain for tableware and ritual use but also supports and helps ceramicists grow with their creative projects both in Italy and abroad and in the last 2 years she teaches entrepreneurship at the “Gaetano Ballardini Institute” in Faenza. Daniela is involved in projects aimed at passing on the art of ceramics.
